Needy Ego Arts Festival: Call to Artists & “Emerging Artists” Sunday, August 25, 2024, 10 am to 4 pm | 139 Winton Road South, Rochester, NY 14610 The Needy Ego Arts Festival honors the memory of Ilana Finkelstein, an emerging artist who passed away unexpectedly in 2021 at age 33. In keeping with her artistic vision, and carrying on the name under which she marketed her creations, this festival seeks to showcase Jewish-themed art or crafts, as well as other arts and crafts without religious themes or symbols. Open to artists and craftspersons throughout the Finger Lakes and Western New York, the Needy Ego Arts Festival offers a showcase and marketplace for established artisans, and also welcomes emerging, inexperienced artists, a group near and dear to Ilana. A portion of the proceeds will go to hosting future festivals and programs that promote the benefits of art throughout the community. RULES FOR PARTICIPATION
